Thanks Dave

I am I was really nervous about making a guitar for him. He wants another one

I wouldn't even know how he does half the things when he plays, let alone be able to play them.RussellR38618.6557291667

Russell,

Can you edit the top post with pix added, or a link to the pix? That'd be great! Terry Stowell38618.7311111111

Russel,
Great sound from your creation! I love the old scottish tunes! David's sound is Richard Thompsonish? Or is Richard's sound Davidish? Either or....really crisp sound. This is what I would like my first acoustic guitar to sound like. I want a small body with that crisp sound! Just Great! Don't be nervous on the next one...the worst is over now....and you did great!

Thanks Mark

I was just nervous as David plays some Lowdens, so I was worried mine would not make the grade in that company. I also wanted to get it right, because this customer has given me alot of help, he is very helpful at giving you a players opinion on things.

See, I told you! Again, great sounding guitar, good separation, not bogged down by overtones and well balanced across the strings with no hint of muddiness, just what a great guitar should sound like. Even though you were supposed to send this one to my wife!

Great guitar.

Colin

Colin

Thanks for the encouragement to post it. I blame the courier for some reason they went to Scotland with this one. I am sure I put your address on it

Wow, Russell

That is beautiful. The guitar, the sound and the playing. What a beautiful melody.

Russell,
what an incredible sounding guitar. Beautiful balance and sustain. Not to
take anything away from David's superb talent, but I was blown away with
the sound that guitar makes. It just proves that in the right hands, there
are a ton of tone woods that make beautiful instruments. Maybe it was a
blessing in disguise that BRW was banned. Look (or hear) what
accomplished luthiers are doing with all kinds of alternate woods! If any
of my instruments ever sound that good, I'll be one happy builder.
